The ACM International Conference on Neuromorphic Systems (ICONS) brings together researchers, engineers, and practitioners advancing brain-inspired computing. Now in its ninth year, ICONS continues to serve as the premier forum for neuromorphic systems: novel architectures, algorithms, software frameworks, and applications that leverage neuromorphic hardware.
This year, ICONS is welcoming work at the intersection of neuromorphic computing and energy-efficient AI. This includes ultra-low-power spike-based machine learning and processing, event-driven computation, in-memory computing, and other approaches that achieve significant improvements in computational efficiency for edge deployment.
ICONS is also closely aligned with the goals of the Genesis Project, which seeks to advance next-generation energy-efficient, brain-inspired AI systems through innovations in algorithms, architectures, and hardware co-design. Both initiatives emphasize scalable, biologically grounded intelligence and transformative reductions in energy consumption for AI across edge and high-performance computing platforms.
Whether you’re developing neuromorphic processors, creating brain-inspired algorithms, or deploying efficient spike-based AI at the edge, ICONS provides a forum to present research, build collaborations, and advance the field of efficient intelligent systems.
